Brian Jennings focuses his practice on commercial litigation, corporate law and bankruptcy and insolvency issues. Brian has resolved complex commercial law disputes, including contentious and high-profile restructuring and insolvency matters, in state and federal courts nationwide from Delaware and New York to Missouri, Washington and Oregon. Brian has guided companies through the restructuring process of chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code, including manufacturers, retailers and shopping centers. He has represented secured lenders, vendors, asset purchasers, creditors' committees and other parties in interest in bankruptcy and litigation matters and assisted them in asserting their rights and maximizing recoveries in distress situations. Brian's commercial litigation experience includes representing parties in breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, inter-company disputes and other business matters. Brian counsels companies regarding corporate formation and governance issues and a wide variety of commercial transactions. He has negotiated and drafted purchase and sale agreements, asset purchase agreements, supplier contracts for numerous clients.

Licensed to practice law in Washington and Oregon, Brian received his law degree from the University of Virginia in 1998 after graduating from the University of Missouri. Prior to joining Chenoweth Law Group, Brian was a partner at Perkins Coie LLP in Seattle, Washington and Portland, Oregon, where he practiced for more than fifteen years. Brian began his career at Lathrop & Gage and Polsinelli PC in Kansas City and St. Louis Missouri before moving to the Pacific Northwest.
